The area around Belleek provides many opportunities to explore very different aspects of local history.
The Janus Figures:
Located on Boa Island there are two carved figures: the smaller one is known as Lusty Man and the larger figure is a wonderful Janus style one. It is thought that the figures may have survived because the island remained as a Druid settlement after Christianity came to Ireland.

The Marble Arch Caves:
This is an award winning attraction where you can explore the fascinating underground world of stalagmites and stalactites. Tours include an underground boat journey and AV presentations.
Devenish Island:
On a small island situated in Lower Lough Erne, is the most important of Lough Erne’s island monasteries. It was founded in the 6th century by Saint Molaise and includes the ruins of St Molaise’s Church, Teampull Mor, a well-preserved Round Tower, St. Mary’s Priory and a small museum. The island is accessible by ferry from Trory Cross and Enniskillen.
National Trust properties:
Florencecourt House and Forest Park where colour-coded forest trails suit every taste. The Forest is open every day of the year from 10.00 am until sunset.
